Job Opening: Special Education Teacher Severe/ Mild Moderate
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field with appropriate endorsements (i.e. Mild/Moderate, Severe) Minimum of three years successful teaching experience
Experience: Relevant experience in working with students with disabilities, experience in and proven record in improving students’ knowledge and outcomes, record management, and effective communication skills
Job Description:
1. The teacher is responsible for the education of assigned students and will create a flexible program and class environment in order to reinforce learning and to meet students' varying needs and interests.
2. The teacher will establish effective rapport with students; motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and the knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for further education, and do so in accordance with each student's ability. Develop and maintain professional relationships with other staff and parents.
3. Establish and enforce rules for behavior and policies and procedures to maintain order among the students for whom they are responsible using employing techniques such as behavior modification and positive reinforcement.
4. Confer with parents, administrators, testing specialists, social workers, and professionals to develop individual educational plans designed to promote students' educational, physical, and social development.
5. Maintain accurate and complete student records, and prepare reports on children and activities, as required by laws, school policies, and administrative regulations, such as IEPs, Eligibility, etc.
6. Develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of students with a variety of special conditions.
7. Conforms to district policies including attendance, absences and evaluations.
8. Effective communication and problem solving skills.

Job Title: Secondary Math Teacher, Part Time
Job Description: Teach one class of Advanced Statistics for the remainder of the school year. Class is taught from 11:05 - 12:15 every Monday and Wednesday and every other Friday.
Qualifications: Current Utah teaching license with Level IV math endorsement.

Job Description: The route is 4 hours a day, 7-9am and 3-5pm. There is also opportunity to drive for sports and field trips. This position starts at $16/hour.
